Customer service has been great. - Each season we have come up long, sometimes as much as 10.000 cwt. Head yield has increased. Moisture "bounce back" after drying has been eliminated. Use of aeration fans has been greatly reduced resulting in reduced electric utility costs. Moisture content has been extremely uniform. In one instance we had one field which was severely dried out in a north wind. We shipped green to two different warehouses, two commercial and our own. The rice at our facility was kept separate and cooled using the PM-LUFT/Tornum Rice Conditioner. The head yield from our own warehouse was 15-20% higher than that from the two commercial warehouses. This is significant, considering a price differential of approximately one dollar per cwt. Additionally the head rice shipped from our warehouse since we obtained the PM-LUFT/Tornum Rice Conditioner, especially in our premium lots, has been the best ever. Go back
